Cross-Strait Cordyceps Symposium Reveals Breakthroughs with Strong Scientific Strength:

The "World Federation of Traditional Chinese Medicine (WFCM) Taiwan Chapter and Cross-Strait Cordyceps Annual Symposium", organized by the World Federation of Traditional Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCM), was held at the International Conference Center of National Taiwan University Hospital on February 22, 2020. This year's symposium featured five major topics of discussion: "Effectiveness of Cordyceps on New Coronavirus", "Current Cordyceps Market Status", "Scientific Mass Production", "Breakthrough of Research and Development", and "Development of Cordyceps Industry in Mainland China and Field Rehabilitation Program in Tibetan Areas".






　　


The seminar invited Lin Yixin, former chairman of the Chinese Medicine Committee of the Department of Health, now a professor and chairman of the Department of Tzu Chi University; Guo Guibin, Ph.D. of the Pharmaceutical University of Japan; Hongliang Lin, professor of the Department of Pharmacy of Kaohsiung Medical College; Guo Jinlin, professor of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine; Ma Hongyuan, director of Shandong Modern Agriculture Bureau; Mr. Liu, CEO of Chendu Skyherb Biotechnology Co.. The symposium had attracted more than 200 Chinese medicine and biotechnology industry representatives.




 In this seminar, Professor Lin explained the various medicinal values and efficacy of Cordyceps Sinensis, which plays a unique and vital role in preventive health care and rehabilitation as the pandemic is spreading worldwide. Prof. Tang Yi and Academician Zhong Nanshan have also suggested that Cordyceps may improve resistibility resistance and prevent lung diseases.



Cordyceps have been rare since ancient times, and 300,000 output in scientific cultivation has been the maximum of breeding technology. The seminar site also generously displayed the patented technology of Cordyceps scientific research, including target breeding method, pathological section-based infection, worm infection rate monitoring, large worm fruiting, and other technologies. The excellent results and strong capability of Chendu Skyherb Biotechnology Co. were witnessed by the domestic and overseas. Chendu Skyherb Biotechnology Co.'s field re-breeding plan is in line with the law of nature's growth, which can achieve the "recovery" of natural Cordyceps and also promote the local economic development.
