Officially established in 2020, Chendu Skyherb Biotechnology Co. is dedicated to the complete cordyceps breeding and production industry chain and deep processing biotechnology research by integrating the technology and experiences the cordyceps research team has accumulated over a decade.
In 2017, by following the laws of nature, the Chendu Skyherb Biotechnology Co. mastered the ancient culturing method and took hold of the origin of caterpillar fungus. In 2018, Chengdu Cordyceps Cultivation Center was established to begin breeding Cordyceps. In addition to that, the company has started to provide nutritious feeds such as ginseng fruit and polygonum viviparum.
In May 2019, Chendu Skyherb Biotechnology Co. founded the Cordyceps Breeding Center and independently developed the world's first big data information management system for the life cycle of caterpillar fungus. It collects data from the whole development process of cordyceps, from silkworm pupae to moths and eggs production, to help the company understand the best breeding conditions so that the variables can be controlled with a scientific approach and in turn optimizes the life of caterpillars. Since the infection rate, herb yield, and quality of Cordyceps have improved, more giant worms with larger food intake were bred, which contain doubled nutritive substances, promoting the health industry development; in-depth research on deep processing and extraction technology of Cordyceps has helped increase the productivity and guarantee excellent product quality.
